Radio Giant Buyout?
Will Clear Channel Communications go private? An article in today's Wall Street Journal (NYSE: DJ) describes the circumstances that lead many to suspect so.
What would this mean for radio advertisers? That remains to be seen. The WSJ suggests that new investors would bring scrutiny to Clear Channel's current strategies, such as "Less is More".
