Ben Zander Series - "Rule #6"

Remember Rule #6, says Ben Zander.

According to Zander, we're all a bunch of "neck-ups". What's a "neck-up?" It's someone who's living from the neck up only. Someone living in their head, disconnected from the rest of life, separated from emotion, from feeling.

One antidote to this problem, says Zander, is to remember Rule #6. Rule #6 is "never take yourself too seriously." He instructed the audience to remember Rule #6 the next time you're offended or upset about something. Often you'll find you're taking yourself way too seriously.
