The U.S. Gross Domestic Product plummeted 32.9% in 2020’s second quarter of 2020, the worst economic contraction on record, according to new data released by the Commerce Department. The advertising market, also down, contracted by 27.4%, according to an analysis based on the U.S. Ad Market Tracker.

These numbers suggest the ad economy may be more resilient than the U.S. economy, Inside Radio reports.

This surprising conclusion aligns with the success of our clients at Strategic Media, Inc. “Our audio advertising agency has been fortunate to work with many clients whose results in Q2 and now in Q3 are surpassing KPI [key performance indicator] goals,” said Bob Leonard, Director of Client Development.

The success of an advertising campaign is dependent on several factors: having a product or service that meets a demand, crafting compelling creative to drive response, and connecting that messaging to the target audience.

And now, reaching the target audiences through audio is as viable as ever. For help creating audio ads that highlight your brand’s unique benefits, and for strategical media placements that ensure your messaging is heard by the right people, contact Strategic Media, Inc. today.
