CEO Jeff Small takes leadership seriously, not only at work, but in service to his community. That’s why, for the third year in a row, he is participating in the American Cancer Society’s “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign. The campaign harnesses the power of pink to increase breast cancer awareness and raise money for the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer initiatives, including research, patient services, and education.

Participants in the program commit to wearing pink throughout the month of October, utilizing social media to promote breast cancer awareness, and raising a minimum of $2,500 to help the American Cancer Society fight breast cancer.

The cause has always been close to Jeff’s heart but it has taken on even more meaning, as earlier this year his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to regular screening she caught it early, underwent surgery, and is now cancer-free.

Jeff is also inspired by his friend and former business partner, Molly, who served on Strategic Media, Inc.’s team in the early 2000’s. Last spring, Jeff received the news that Molly was fighting breast cancer again. His campaign aims to honor Molly and all of the fighters out there.
