March 8 marks International Women’s Day, and iHeartMedia has partnered with SeeHer for the second annual “iHeartRadio SeeHer Hear Her: Celebrating Women Who Make Music and Culture”. The one-hour special will feature footage and interviews with top female artists, including Alicia Keys, Maren Morris and Avril Lavigne. These three women will talk about their girlhood dreams, the mentors who inspired them, achieving their goals, and becoming role models for future generations. Stream the event live on iHeartRadio’s YouTube and Facebook pages on March 8 at 8pm (ET) or watch it on-demand through March 14.

Throughout the day on March 8, the iHeartRadio app will offer special playlists in celebration of International Women’s Day, and iHeartMedia radio shows will engage in conversations about equality and inclusion, as well as offer information about how everyone can help more women be heard. Join in the conversation online by using #iHeartWomensDay and #SeeHer throughout the day.

“More women need to feel seen, heard and represented in media, music, and culture today – which is why we’re excited to partner with SeeHer on International Women’s Day,” said iHeartMedia Executive VP/Chief Marketing Officer Gayle Troberman. “The show is all about seeing and hearing what it takes to succeed from the incredible women who are breaking the rules and breaking down the barriers in music and entertainment. It’s great entertainment, it’s great storytelling, and it’s a rallying cry for every aspiring singer, songwriter, and performer to get started.”
