Radio Revenue Expected to Reach Double-Digit Growth in 2021

We recently wrote about podcast advertising’s massive revenue gains. Now, analysts at eMarketer predict traditional media will also experience impressive growth.

Traditional ad spending is forecasted to grow by 7.6% this year, the fastest growth rate since eMarketer began tracking the metric. And as Inside Radio reported, radio ad spending is expected to increase 12%, bringing total broadcast ad spending to $11.21 billion.

eMarketer predicts a “record-setting pace for ad spending growth worldwide” in 2021 due to pent-up demand for traditional advertising, as well as exploding growth in ecommerce-related ad spending and social media advertising.
