Traditional ad spending is forecasted to grow by 7.6% this year, the fastest growth rate since eMarketer began tracking the metric. And as Inside Radio reported, radio ad spending is expected to increase 12%, bringing total broadcast ad spending to $11.21 billion.
eMarketer predicts a “record-setting pace for ad spending growth worldwide” in 2021 due to pent-up demand for traditional advertising, as well as exploding growth in ecommerce-related ad spending and social media advertising.
